Time To Blow The Whistle

Yesterday's Prime Minister's Questions featured two issues on which Theresa May ought to be strong, stable, and able to build crossparty support in this hung Parliament. They were hostile foreign takeovers, and human trafficking.

But she has done nothing to make good her promises on the first, with even what was once Lever Brothers fleeing to the Netherlands once and for all in order to be protected from such aggression, and she is in danger of squandering her world-leading legacy as Home Secretary on the second.

Another such issue ought to be the scandal of unpaid trial shifts. But where is she? In the Moscow of Her Mind, that's where. Alas, because many of us wanted to respect her far more than we have been able to do, it is time for her very well-paid trial shift to end.
