Hunt Balls

Now that Theresa May has definitely ruled out any attempt to repeal the hunting ban, might there be any chance of enforcing it as the law?

I have never cared for it. Tony Blair and Hilary Armstrong, neither of whom voted for it, used it to buy support for the Iraq War. But it is still the law, and it is going to remain so.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Hunt remains Health Secretary, because Theresa May is too weak to sack him. Not even to make way, as had been widely trailed, for the wife of a Director of Virgin Care.

  1. Anne Milton's Wikipedia entry was edited this morning to mention her husband's directorship and her promotion was abruptly stopped. The world is a different place now.

  2. So much for a Cabinet on women and ethnic minorities. That was supposed to be the point of this reshuffle, so where are they?
